Florent Malouda comparaîtra devant le Tribunal arbitral du Sport (TAS), mercredi, à la suite de sa suspension pour deux matches officiels, infligée par la commission de discipline de la Confédération d'Amérique du Nord, d'Amérique centrale et des Caraïbes (CONCACAF), durant la dernière Gold Cup à laquelle il participait avec la sélection de Guyane, l'été dernier. Sanctionné après coup au motif qu'il avait déjà évolué en équipe de France, le milieu offensif (37 ans) avait payé sa présence lors du match face au Honduras (0-0), finalement perdu sur tapis vert par les Yana Doko (0-3).
Florent Malouda sagt heute vor dem CAS aus. Er hat Einspruch eingelegt gegen die Zwei-Spiele-Sperre, die er durch seinen Einsatz beim Gold Cup bekommen hat.An der 0:3-Strafwertung bzw. den weiteren Verlauf des Turniers kann natürlich nichts mehr geändert werden, dennoch wird die CONCACAF eine Niederlage hier auf keinen Fall wollen...

Der Gold Cup und die Copa America finden dieses Jahr beide zwischen den 14 Juni und dem 7. Juli statt

Der nächste Gold Cup in 2019 wird wie gewohnt in der USA stattfinden, welche bereits 15 Stadien bekannt gegeben hat. Es sollen aber auch Spiele in der Karibik und Zentralamerika (angeblich Costa Rica) ausgetragen werden. Was eine Neuerung wäre.
