Daniel Ríos traded to Charlotte FC - Nashville SC receive GAM and incentives

Major League Soccer expansion side Charlotte FC have added another piece to their roster. On Friday, the club announced that they had acquired Daniel Ríos from Nashville SC in exchange for $350,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money (GAM) and an additional $150,000 in 2023 GAM. Nashville will also retain 10% of any future transfer outside of MLS.
Ríos became Nashville SC's first-ever player when he signed for the club in 2018. Since then the striker has managed 34 games (21 goals and two assists) for the club's predecessor in the USL Championship and then added another 33 games (six goals and one assist) after Nashville SC were added to MLS ahead of the 2020 season.
